Snickers' Doodlings
It’s been a couple of months since you’ve heard from me; it’s been a busy summer! I’m now 8 months old, almost 20 pounds and a “tweenager” (I guess that means I’m testing Mom & Dad’s limits & patience)! I’ve had a really fun summer even though I haven’t been on vacation!
I got to hang out with my best four-legged friend, Jackson at his house for two weeks while his Mom was on vacation. Jackson, an American bulldog is so cool, he let me climb all over him, chase him all over the backyard & around the pool (I didn’t fall in), go on walks with him, steal his bones and sleep with him in a gigantic king size bed. I never got to sleep in a people’s bed ‘til then and now I get to cuddle up with my Mom & Dad every night! I like to curl up around my Mom’s head and steal her pillow!
I also graduated from my beginner puppy class and now I attend the “Advanced Beginner” class. I’ve made lots of puppy friends in class although most of them are older & bigger than me. I still get easily distracted and sometimes my Mom wonders if I’ve ever heard basic commands before! I get to go on daily walks now and eat lots of ice cubes when I get home!
I get to be more & more out of my office play pen at the store when I “behave” so expect to see me by the register “helping” my Mom or on the couch chewing on one of my bones or something I’ve dragged in from outside (palm frawns are my favorite!). Mom & Dad are trying to teach me not to get overexcited when I meet new people or greet old friends so I could use your help by you being calm when you see me. Thanks!
